What is device and geo targeting?
It lets one short link send visitors to different destinations based on their device (iOS, Android, or Desktop) or their country. You set ordered rules, and anyone who matches no rule lands on your base URL.
Can I send iOS and Android users to different app stores?
Yes. A common setup is iOS to the App Store, Android to Google Play, and desktop to a web page, all from a single link. You add one rule per platform and pick the destination for each.
Can I route visitors by country?
Yes. You can add a country condition (for example, US) and point matching visitors to a regional page. Country comes from the same geo lookup used in your link analytics.
What happens if no rule matches?
The visitor goes to the link's base destination URL. Your base URL is always the fallback, so there is never a dead end, even for unknown devices or missing location data.
Do bots and link previews trigger rules?
